意味：Aがあるから・・・Ｂがある。Ａがなければ・・・Ｂが成り立たない。B can only exist because of A

意味近い文法：おかげで、てこそ、に決まっている

ノート：元に「があっての」だったで、「あっての」のつける部分は完全な文章ではない。理由や説明が次に出るはずの気がする。ＡとＢの関係が自然な関係だけど、Ａにかなりありがたい気持ちや大事にする気持ちを伝える文法。

例文：

仕事あっての生活だから、いやなことがあってもあっさり辞めない。

N＋（の）いかんにかかわらず・によらず・をとわず

意味：Aに関係なくＢが進む。Regardless of A, B

意味近い文法：を問わず、かかわらず

ノート：「いかんに」は実に「如何に（いかに）」の表現で、如何は次第という意味がします。つまり、N＋次第という文法ご存じならば簡単になるけど、「いかんにかかわらず」は「A次第ではなく、Bが決まりました。」になる。N＋次第文法のリンクをReferencesに付ける。「にかかわらず・によらず」を使うと、「いかん」の前に「の」を入れては大丈夫。ちなみに、この文法は書きことば。

意味：AによってBが大きい影響与える可能性がある。Depending on A

意味近い文法：によって、次第で、いかんで

ノート：「は」のつけない「いかんで」はだいぶ「によって」と同じで原因と可能性がある結果の関係を伝える文系（もっと硬いけど）。「は」つけたら、その状況に特別な結果が出る、つまり、可能性がある物事が 一つだけになる事情が多いです。

例文：

試験の結果いかんでは、大学を卒業できない可能性もある。

With your grades, you might not be able to graduate college. (with は, situation is specific to one person)
